Connecting eBay

Mismatch uses eBay's OAuth flow — we never see your password. Granted scopes are listed on the consent screen before you confirm.

First-time setup

1. Settings → Connected Platforms → Connect on eBay
2. You'll be redirected to eBay; sign in if needed and grant access
3. You return to Settings with a green "✓ eBay connected" banner

Business policies (required to publish)

eBay requires every published listing to reference at least one each of: Payment,Shipping, and Return business policy. Set them up at eBay Seller Hub → Account → Business policies. Mismatch picks the first of each automatically when you publish.

Disconnecting

Settings → Connected Platforms → Disconnect on eBay. Your tokens are deleted from our database immediately. To revoke at the eBay end, visit your eBay account → Apps → revoke "Mismatch."

Common errors

• "Business policies not set up" — visit eBay Seller Hub and create payment/shipping/return policies.
• "OAuth state mismatch" — your browser cookies likely expired. Click Connect again.
• "eBay requires at least one product photo" — upload photos before clicking Publish to eBay.
